The ninth edition of YOCOCU is aimed to promote constructive, critical and interdisciplinary conversations on the challenges emerging in cultural heritage bridging ancient traditions, challenges and problems and future scenarios. YOCOCU 2024 wants to be a source of inspiration and ideas underpinned by a wealth of experience, evidence and good practices gathered across all levels of cultural heritage, from the professional to the academic researcher to the citizen.     Summaries and papers are expected on the conservation and restoration of works made from different materials or discussions on traditional materials and techniques currently in use. These should address integrating them with modern technology to transmit cultural heritage to future generations.<\/span><\/p>

    What are the traditional conservation methods specific to the culture, applied to organic and inorganic material groups from their production, considering deterioration processes that may accelerate due to various factors, with case studies on identification, detection, methods, and practices?<\/span><\/p>

Is it possible to sustainably preserve and transmit cultural heritage to future generations by combining the strengths of both approaches, integrating them with modern technology and digital tools?<\/span><\/p>

    Will conservation efforts using these reconciled methods contribute to combating the climate crisis? How will they contribute?<\/span><\/p>
