The seminar will be an opportunity to compare two pieces of expertise in the conservation of musical instruments, the one of Marco Malagodi, scientific expert of ancient musical instruments and professor at the University of Pavia, and the one of Barnes Ziegler, restorer of musical instruments at the Museum of Instruments in Berlin.
