AIES NETWORKING EVENT: XII Conference “Diagnosis, conservation, and valorization of Cultural Heritage”

The online event is part of the 12th AIES Conference and is sponsored by IEMEST, the ECODOMUS Cluster and YOCOCU.

Through the collection of short videos presenting oneself and one’s activity, it is intended to stimulate the exchange of know-how between research and industry, manufacturers and end users, promoting networking and job opportunities for young people.

Participants will be given the opportunity to register by filling out a form in order to submit their own recorded speech of up to 2 minutes in length.

The collection of videos/speeches will be promoted in the AIES website for 12 months and on the facebook page “AIES beni culturali” and will be presented during the two days of the conference, compatibly with the conference mode (online or in-person) and with the spaces dedicated by the MANN (for the in-person version). The link to the page on the AIES website where all submitted videos will be shown will also be sent to the entire AIES mailing list and shared among the partners. In fact, the ultimate goal is to ensure maximum dissemination in order to stimulate encounters and foster new job opportunities.

Categories involved:

  • PROFESSIONALS (Eng. or Arch.)
  • JUNIORS (young graduates)

  • Job opportunities
  • Research partnerships
  • Product/service offering

For the first edition of AIES Networking Day 2021, membership in the Networking Day is FREE and registration for the Conference is not mandatory to encourage wide participation. Those who would also like to participate in the proceedings of the Conference can register.

Each participant who registers will be able to present himself in a 2-minute video (max.), explaining the activity he is doing or wants to do and what he is looking for. Participants will be divided into 6 groups (one for each category). Following the collection of all videos, all participants will be provided with a list of completed forms, the full video and contact information.

Here is the link to the event’s online form:

Participation in the conference may be an opportunity for B2B meetings during the conference in the dedicated area (consistent with the space and prevention measures taken by MANN).

To encourage youth participation, a PRIZE will be given to the best JUNIOR presentation consisting of free registration to the Green Conservation of Cultural Heritage 2022 conference organized by YOCOCU APS in Rome.
