YOCOCU (YOuth in COnservation of CUltural heritage) was born in 2008 with the aim of creating a network for young students, professionals and researchers, working in different fields of Cultural Heritage (chemistry, physics, biology, restoration, archaeology, architecture).

The next YOCOCU meeting is being held in Azerbaijan and will provide an important opportunity to establish new professional links and to hear the voice of colleagues in this region. YOCOCU’s ambition for this meeting is to both consolidate its current network and to enlarge it to include the Turkish, Russian-speaking and Middle Eastern regions. For this reason, there will be two committees: the YOCOCU Symposium and the Scientific Committee. The first will embrace the Caucasus region looking to the Arabic region, the second will look to European and extra European participants at the conference.
